Wow, where has 2009 gone? It's been an exciting, frustrating and wonderful year for the Rocketts. We celebrated the twins 2nd birthday, we celebrated Casey & Justin expecting a beautiful (we know this already) little girl and Eric & I celebrated our 30 year wedding anniversary. It's amazing that I have been married to my best friend for 30 years! We still enjoy each others company and look forward to many more years.
On the frustrating side, we did not sell our house and it is now off the market but look forward to whatever God has planned for us in that arena. I lost a friend to suicide in November and it really brought to light how many people suffer from depression, please pray for Will's wife and young family as they adjust to life without him.
Christmas this year was a little crazy with my Mom having to have gallbladder surgery and not getting out of the hospital until Christmas Eve but a wonderful family time was still had by all. Casey & Justin entertained us in style and we enjoyed it very much. Christmas is such a special time for me, it brings back precious memories shared with my Dad who is no longer with us and reminds me just how very special family is. We've added some wonderful folks to this family thru Holly, my daughter n law and Justin, my son n law. They add so much to this already exciting mix of folks. And thru them we gained more extended family, Holly has folks that we love and Justin brought us Donna & John. Donna is a lot more talented at the blog writing so I'm trying to follow her example.
Grumps and I look forward to 2010 when our little Mackenzie Lynne will appear and we can began full out spoiling!
